ABOUT THE STUDIO
Where is your studio located at?
We're located at Foz do Lizandro in Rua da Marinha 4C, Carvoeira. You can look for us on Google Maps as Lari Tattoo Studio.
What are the studio's opening ours?
The studio is only open by appointments, so make sure to drop us a message before passing by :)

Do you do consultations?
Consultations are all responded through email, in case you have other questions make sure to send us an email and we'll get back to you!

Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, you can send us the information of the size of tattoo you want to offer and the name of the person. We'll then contact them in order to book their session.

How do I book an appointment?
To book your session, you just need to tap in BOOK in the menu and it will redirect you to the booking form. After that, we'll contact you with more information and confirmation regarding your session.

What informations do you need when enquiring about getting a tattoo?

Approximate size of the tattoo
Any reference pictures that you may have

Can I bring people to my appointment?
Yes, but please take into consideration that our studio is small, so no more than 1 friend.
We also gently ask you to not bring kids or pets once the tattoo appointment requires a lot of focus and the studio is a very tiny place.

What will the price depend on?
The price of your session will depend on the size, complexity of the design and hours of the session. The more hours it takes, the higher the price will be. The minimum range for a tattoo appointment costs 150 Euros.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, in order to secure your session we request a deposit of 20 Eur, which will be deduced from the final payment.
Is the deposit refundable?
In case of cancellation, 100% refund will only be done for cancellations done prior to 5 days before the session, after this time limit there will be no refund. In case you want to reschedule your session, your deposit will continue to be valid.
What type of payments do you take?
We take cash, card ( + 2.7% tax), bank transfer (must send proof during he session), paypal and MBWay.
Do you give discounts?
We do offer discounts in case you want to get more than 1 tattoo during the same session. The tattoo has to be done on the same person due to health and safety.

TATTOO DESIGN

Do you work with colored ink?
No, we only use black ink.

Do you do cover ups?
We do not do cover ups of other artists' art.
Do you work with temporary tattoo's?
Sadly, at this moment we do not work with this option, but we're planning to!
Is there anything you will not tattoo?
I refuse to do anything that deems hateful (racist, sexist and generally gross). I only take sessions which style and aesthetic is the same as mine. I can also refuse in case I do not feel comfortable with the placement of the tattoo.
Can you send the design before the session?
No, we don't do this because of copyright reasons and also because of our tight schedule. All designs are done during the session. You'll only start getting the tattoo when you're 100% happy with the design. In case you have in mind a very complex design, size and placement, let us know in the form, this way we can schedule enough time for your session or schedule a consultation.
I'm not sure what I want to tattoo, is it okay?
It's ok if you still don't have a clear idea of what exact design you want. As long as you have some ideas we can sit down and create something special and unique for you.

TATTOO PLACEMENT
Is there an area that you don't tattoo?
I do not tattoo any area in the head, lips, genitals, or foot sole.
Do you cover up scars?
No, I do not specialize in this area. I recommend you to look for an artist that is specialized in scar cover ups.
Do you tattoo on fingers?
Yes I do, but please remember that the fingers skin is a very delicate area and is prominent to fading. In case you decide to tattoo this area and want a retouch (if needed) is your full responsability and will be charged as a normal session.

Do you do piercings?
No.
Do you rent your space to other artists?
At the moment we're not working with any other partners. If you're interested in renting the spac, please, contact us through email at lari.tattooart@gmail.com.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
​
Can I go surfing?
You can't go into the water at least for the first and a half week. The reason for this is to avoid any infection and allow the tattoo to heal properly.
Is your ink safe?
Yes, we use Dynamic Color ink which is a safe non-toxic vegan ink.
Can my partner and I use the same needle to get a lower price?
This is a big no. All sessions are done with a new disposable needle in order to avoid any health risks.
