The First Day
The first day is really important you clean and hidrate properly the area. After a few hours, remove the plastic wrap that's covering the new tattoo. With clean hands, wash the tattoo with fragance-free antibacterial soap. Apply a thin layer of fragance-free and alcohol-free moisturizer at least 3 times a day. Leave the covering off so the tattoo can heal, wear loose and lightweight clothing so it doesn't irritate your skin.
Healing Process
At this point, scabs will start to form. Make sure not to pick at them, since it can cause scarring.
Keep properly cleaning and hidrating the tattoo at least 3 times a day with a light layer of moisturizer.
In case you have to be under the sun, make sure you properly apply sunscreen to the area and try to cover it up.


Special Attention
During the healing process, it's important you stay out of the sun and salt water as long as you can. The minimum amount of time you should be away from salt water is of 1 week and a half, this way your tattoo can heal properly.
For moisturizers, opt for vaseline or coconut oil.
Make sure all products you're using are fragance-free and alcohol-free so it doesn't irritate your skin.
